Sunday "TEA"l time

Afternoon. It's a lovely Sunny if very windy Sunday afternoon here , perfect for drying the washing actually, any I'm off waffling at a tangent again. This is a card I made today, coloured with promarker pens in colours I wouldn't normally use. I am also going to be brave and enter it into my first blog challenge on passion for promarkers, who are celebrating their 1st birthday.

patterned papers are from one of the papermania capsule pads, flowers I made myself from a tutorial on the whiff of joy blog, they were coloured using promarkers too.

a few more

These are a few more of the May card mountain I have to make . The first one is for a friends son, using another Lili of the valley stamp. Their stamps are fantastic value, and I love the fact they have so many male orientated images. Having 3 sons a brother and the usual collection of male relatives I am sure you can understand why I was soooo pleased to discover this little company.Long may they thrive :)

This one was made for Ian from the boys, again  LOTV stamp. The one I made for Ian is also  a LOTV image
just forgot to take a pic of it , so will do that at some point.

Images were coloured with promarkers , top papers were some scrap papers I had and the bottom ones are from basic grey can't remember which pad though.

thanks for looking

Me Time

The past couple of weekends I have finally found a bit of me time to play , whilst marcus has been following his daddy round the garden digging up several of what his daddy had planted, in fact the other day I rescued my lilly bulbs from the lawn where Marcus had dug them out of the pot ! Anyway I digress. today I made these flowers following the tutorial on the whiff of Joy insperation blog, so easy and great messy fun to make.

and last weekend i managed to do 3 yes 3 cards.
one is for Ian's dad whose birthday is tomorrow and the others are for the multitude of birthdays I have next month .

Sunday afternoon

Now don't all fall down in shock but, I actually managed to get 3 cards made this Sunday afternoon. The first one is a birthday card for my neighbour. The image is a stamp from www.liliofthevalley.co.uk, coloured in with promarkers and some generic scrap booking papers I had.

This one was made for my FIL birthday. It was made using some Tim Holtz alcohol inks ( i love them so quick and easy to use) the rubber stamp image is one of his too and some basic grey paper, quick simple and effective.

This one is for a very lovely Lady. Sadly on Friday dear Netties husband passed away.
Sympathy cards are not something I usually make, but I wanted something plain, simple and straightforward, and this came together so easily.

Now to start making the cards for the million and one (well it feels like it) that I need for May. I think it was 18 at the last count !!

Mothers Day cards

These are the cards I made for our mums this year, The first one is penny black stamp coloured in with pro markers and copics, I even used the little sewing machine I asked for for Christmas, on it.

This one was made using Tim Holtzs alcohol inks. I got some for Christmas and like the sewing machine haven't had chance to play, until lately, and they are so simple, addictive and easy to use, It is hard to see the full effect of them in a photo as there is also some gold in the mix, which make sit look like marble when it catches the light, and my photography isn't the best, David Bailey has no threat from me LOL. The stamps are some do craft sets I had and they were blinged up with some pearls and twinkles from the hobby house.

5 Year wait

Not a crafty post this one but On Thursday Myself Ian and Nathan got on a train to London with a rough Idea of where we were going and hoping we could work out the underground map once we got there (HAHAHAHA). We had to get to Wembly arena as we had tickets for Rammsteins new tour. Getting off at Kings cross and not a clue as where to go next, we spoke to the nearest BR guy who told us get on this tube, off that tube, onto this tube etc.... Confused ?? doesn't even begin to cover it!. once in the Tube station we spoke to a nice BR lady who told us oh only one tube 5 stops along and get off, she even took us to the right platform.

We exited Wembly Park station to be greeted by the great sight of wembly arch and stadium

Yeahhh we had got there and so simple. See always ask a woman for directions :)
After a 5 years gap we were off to see Rammstein again, and wow what a show, the wait was most definitely worth it .

We had seating tickets this time instead of standing ( never again it felt so wrong to be sat down) and if we had been any higher we would have needed an oxygen mask....

Hearing is now back to normal and can't wait to see them again .
